DMAC Expands TAWPI Booth; Dealers, Vendors Add ExpertiseBased upon questions and suggestions received at the 1994 TAWPI show, DMAC increases booth space to allow clusters of different expertise within the booth. Three Unibase By DMAC dealers -- National Business Systems, Inc., Data Dash Incorporated, and Jon Tarbox are assisting DMAC in answering questions and demonstrating solutions this year. Tandem Computers On Display Tandem Computers Incorporated, vendors of large and fault tolerant (Non-Stop) UNIX systems, bring a multi-processor system and related expertise to the booth. Bruce Serell and Chris Colonnese, nationally recognized technical leaders at Tandem, demonstrate Unibase by DMAC in a truly large database and user configuration by demonstrating under Unibase by DMAC the environment similar to that used by over 30 Florida counties. They will also explain the Tandem/Unibase by DMAC emergency 911 fault tolerant (Non-Stop) system first being installed in July. Three Dealers Assist DMAC Darlene Gieseke and Gail Bowler of National Business Sytems, Inc. will help answer questions in particular about using Unibase by DMAC in a national service organization with over a dozen hub cities and many client locations. The true benefit of service organizations support for client work with both groups using the same Unibase by DMAC environment is explained. Susan Morton and Charley Clary of Data Dash Incorporated address all areas of questions about serving varying work loads with a service organization centered on meeting end user needs. Jon Tarbox, (yes Jon is the fifth Tarbox associated with DMAC. The famous Blodgett family (Unibase by DMAC users) has over a dozen involved in data entry; today there are not enough Tarboxes to break that record), located in Coarl springs, Florida, is DMAC's local Florida dealer eager to assist Florida attendees any way possible. Jon will be providing the personal Florida touch. Again this year DMAC will have Carolyn Bell, Tina Kay, Rick Tarbox, Catherine Tarbox, Fred Tarbox, Penn Avera and Lauren Avera passing out the new literature and copies of "The Unibase Technical Review," demonstrating Unibase by DMAC and answering questions.
