Direct Sales Splits from Dealer Sales, Marketing

Carolyn  Bell  Avera,  DMAC's Vice President  of  Sales  and Marketing announced in May, 1999 that she was splitting  her group  into two groups -- 1)Direct Sales and 2)Dealer  Sales and Marketing.

Ms. Tonya Fitzgerald is now Direct Sales Manager. Tonya, who came to DMAC from a similar position at MCI, stated "Once  I had  sold sufficient licenses at DMAC to become  the  number one salesperson for 1999, I knew I wanted to lead this great group on to a record year -- then a record decade."

Gerry O'Malley, Eric Fravel, and Jason Moore join Tonya  and Steve  Wright  (not the comedian -- remember from  the  last issue)  in  direct sales.  Gerry's  experience  as  customer service  manager  for Valmet, Inc. will stand  him  in  good stead here at DMAC where we place such high importance  upon customer service. Gerry is raising five children so you  can always get a "kid story" from Gerry.

Eric  Fravel  comes  to  DMAC from  a  position  as  a  mall speciality   shop   manager   via   the   electric   service installation  industry. Eric says the best thing about  work is the people and the contact with people.  This will be his first experience with computer people. Let us hope we do not change his love of being around people.

Jason Moore has worked in his father's business for the past few  years.   We hope he finds DMAC has all the good  points of a family business, but none of the bad points.

Meanwhile, Carolyn Avera is working more heavily on   client support,  product  marketing  and dealer  support.  See  the article  on  web  site for the type of  things  this  change enables  Carolyn  to spearhead. In this year  where  we  are trying  to  make a main point out of client support,  we had to free up time at the top to  concentrate on those support items which clients have requested.
