This newsletter tries to give readers Fred Tarbox's reaction and comments
to the changes in the "feeding data to computers" technical business. Technical
was added to the newsletter name because many subjects build upon data
not expressly defined in the articles and many subjects do not have a general
interest viewpoint.
Fred With Industry Since 1967
Fred is a licensed professional engineer involved with the data entry
industry since 1967. Since 1989 Fred and those that work with him have
had technical and programming responsibility for the Unibase by DMAC environment.
Gives Product Change Information
The Unibase by DMAC environment distributed to users runs about 90 days
behind what Fred discusses to allow time for printing of manuals, quality
assurance, etc.
Fred hopes that just by iterating what is chief among his concerns at
the time, readers can obtain a perspective on the industry not otherwise
available.
