Optional Else Phrase DMAC's users tell us that Unibase by DMAC's AID programming language is by far the most powerful superset of any data capture language available. We at DMAC are constantly trying to give our users new verb and control functions in the AID language to enable handling the new concepts in the industry in a simple consistent way. DMAC Helps Users Build On Skills Many of the new features in the entire 7.4i series have been to allow AID programmers to control data so that the operator can achieve whatever needs to be accomplished without learning new skills. Here Comes One More Small Change This preamble leads up to a small change to just one verb - open. The change is to allow the AID programmer to decide what to do when one of up to 99 different files is not present when the AID program goes to open the file. Users requested it; DMAC provides it. The else is optional so all existing code continues to work correctly.
