Unibase Imaging Now Supports
Multipage TIFFS

Unibase Imaging, release 7.45i, now supports multipage tiffs throughout the Unibase environment. If the standard job specifies that multipage tiffs might be presented to Unibase, the extra pages are detected and inserted into the current batch. No extra work is required to identify the multipage tiffs.

The users AID programmer can use the untethered image features in Unibase Imaging to skip over or back and forth among the multipage just as if they were separate tiffs.

The image data control (idc) file now optionally supports page numbers if a user wishes to see pages in a tiff in a different sequence from the default serial sequence.

All processes beyond entry (verify, correct, examine, etc.) will immediately go to the assigned image and page for use with a particular record. The automatic selection of this image and page can now be overridden by the AID programmer as desired in an edit program.

Any image page in the Unibase 31 character image directory system (internal and up to 127 external 31 character image directory systems) can be accessed. They can be accessed by channel number as well as an untethered image.
