Keying Order Comes Of Age;
Works In a Logical Fashion
Tony Gardner and Jeanette Kasch of NCS win the award for perseverance in
helping Unibase by DMAC to make the keying order feature available since
1994 work in a logical way.
Both Unibase by DMAC release 7.3i and release 7.4i now have all the
suggestions, comments, and display approaches worked out by these two helpers.
The biggest changes are in the little ways that keying order works and
displays -- not only when you key or verify in a straight forward manner;
but also when you hit the wrong key, duplicate, backup, skip, use nondisplay
fields, location return and all the other little things.
So if you want to do keying order, and want to have it behave in a logical
fashion, log into the bbs (540-667-4698) and download the latest de and
dei programs for your release.
We at DMAC have said that as long as a client will work with us to make
a feature the way it should be, we too will hang in the process -- even
if it takes months. Thanks again to Tony and Jeanette.
