Steady Growth of DMAC
Means Still More Space
Hammers and saws were aflyin' this spring as DMAC required four new offices.
Bill Reynolds, head carpenter, explained, "Frederick County did not vacate
their space when we needed it, so we turned the warehouse into offices."
Growing In Historic District
DMAC's expansion here in one of downtown Winchester, Virginia's prime
historical landmarks - "The Rouss Firehouse," gets a slug of 8000 square
feet available when the new Frederick County Office building is completed
this fall.
The renovation schedule for the new space is not complete at this time.
Currently all DMAC space is custom fitted with sufficient air conditioning,
power, and security for a computer based company.
Renovation To Take Time
The new space will take several months to undergo such a transition.
Drawings showing the entrance way have yet to be approved by the Winchester
Board of Architectural Review. Carolyn Bell will be presenting the DMAC
approach to the board.
Orchids In the New Entrance Way
The new entrance way has space for some of Carolyn's many orchids. Design
was hard because fitting a lot of high ceilings and glass into a historically
correct building is hard. When finished, a picture of the entrance way
will be in this newsletter.
