Image Entry File and Field Edits
Get Verbs, Functions from Drun

The approximately two dozen image handling verbs and control functions added to output programs and standalone fileedits (drun) in the Fall of 1994 are now available in Image Entry File and Field Edits for Unibase release 7.3i and 7.4i.

Client Requests Drive Enhancement

Clients requested these enhancements. Many users are now constructing the image batch files on the fly and needed this set of verbs and control functions to enable the field and file edits to create a batch based upon data entered in image entry.

Well Accepted Features in Drun

Since 1994, the AID language output programs and standalone fileedits (those programs using drun) could create an image or nonimage batch to be entered, updated, verified and etc.

Users have interfaced with OCR/ICR output using this approach. Now the same features can be used while in image entry.

AID Improvements Come From Users

We in development at DMAC will continue to add verbs and control functions to the AID language to allow users to interface Unibase by DMAC with almost anything. Let us know if you need access in the AID language to data within the Unibase by DMAC environment for your special approach to the data capture world.
