A Long Road To The Future
Our home grown here in Winchester, Virginia web site now exists. Carolyn
Bell gave the word July 9, 1996 for the site to be opened to the public
and listed in various yellow pages.
Everyone today knows that some futurists are saying that the world wide
web is as significant a development as is the telephone. Right now, we
at DMAC are just glad we completed the journey down this road to this point.
Web Is As Important As Telephone
After a rest while we go to TAWPI July 28-31, 1996 in San Jose, California,
we will begin on the next step in our journey down the technology road.
ISDN Telephone Switch Coming
DMAC is waiting for its telephone switch provider's new ISDN switch.
When that is available this summer or fall, we will be able to link our
BBS with the www.dmac-unibase.com site with just a mouse click.
Purpose of All Is Customer Support
We at DMAC have pursued this goal of one database for both BBS and internet
users since 1993. Still not there, still working hard and steady, still
with hope. We will keep you all posted
