Grows Faster
DMAC builds fast software. DMAC's indexing is fast. Now it is faster. With Unibase by DMAC, release 7.47i, the node size of the indexing becomes 4096 from 512. This increases the number of pockets in a node to about 100 in a typical index. In addition, DMAC now keeps up to 1700+ nodes in memory when building indexes depending upon the amount of memory available. What does this mean for our clients? Speed. The new index builds are between ten and twenty times fast er. The access times are also faster. Any penalty? Nope. Both 512, 4096, and other size nodes are dynamically used. Clients do not need to rebuild their indexes. When they do, indexing goes faster.
